Design Wall Monday: Paper piecing

 These are blocks I am working on for a paper pieced quilt. It is one of my UFO's, for the UFO challenge, but they are going to take a while so I am working on them as I go along. When their number comes up then it will be ready to be put together. So is that really a UFO or is that a WIP?

 I have more blocks done, but don't have pictures of them.

Design Wall Monday: A UFO

So the beginning of the year number five of the UFO projects (see the last post if you have no idea what I am talking about) was chosen. It was my stack of six inch blocks that were made in 2007 from a group of my letterboxing friends. Way back then I had no idea how to put them together. I had no idea what sashing was and my block was one of the very funky ones. Now that I have been quilting for a while I am glad to finally get these together. Now I just need to quilt and bind it and I will have one less UFO. YAY!
